Giving and receiving feedback requires sensitivity to individual differences. Personality theories provide us with a framework that will help us in the complex task of understanding human behaviour. Many useful tools based on robust frameworks are available .

This section provides an overview of the nine personality types in the Enneagram human development and behaviour model. Although this is a very quick overview of a profound personality typology, hopefully it will encourage you to think about how different personalities respond to the giving and receiving of feedback.
