Different Personalities and Feedback

Giving and receiving feedback requires sensitivity to individual differences. Personality theories provide us with a framework or shortcut to that will help us in the complex task of understanding human behaviour. Many useful tools based on robust frameworks are available.

This section provides an overview of nine personality types in the Enneagram human development and behaviour model. Although this is a very quick overview of a profound
personality typolog, hopefully it will encourage you to think about how different personalities respond to the giving and receiving of feedback.
